A taste of misfortune

so i've been playing a lot of basketball lately, and today i was really on... we warmed up in a side gym at the SRC (student recreation complex) and i was FEELING it... no seriously i was shooting really well. anyways, we get some people to come play in our gym, and on our second possession, my friend brian and i have a 2 on 1 fastbreak, so he gives me a humdinger of a pass........... and i'll be damned if i dont look down and my pinky looks like a frickin W!!!! totally dislocated it... so i spent the next couple hours waiting at the ER and they soot like a gallon of numbing stuff into my hand with a three foot needle, then he gives it a tug, puts it in a splint, and tells me not to play basketball for three weeks...and to leave the splint on that whole time........ i'm really not happy about it, cuz im just starting to get into playing ball a lot again, and i would complain for while longer, but its too mucj of a pain in the ass to type with one hand. Damn, this sucks.

On the bright side, i now have an excuse to not do the 4 page english paper that's due tomorrow, so there is a bit of a "silver lining" on this cloud...
