It Is Just Fine to Be Attracted to Cartoons

Cartoon characters are intended to be attractive, even sexy. Sometimes the appeal is more evasive and subliminal, while other times it is as obvious as W.'s speech problems. One blatant example of obvious sexual intent in cartoons: Japanimation. Anime is often pure porn, and more than a few Dungeons and Dragons playing guys in their late twenties have experienced plenty of "dice fondling" over anime dubbed over in English... until their mom came down and told them it was time for dinner. However, we can easily look at more common and popular cartoons and find a very sexual side to the characters.

Let us cite some female Disney characters. Jasmine, Ariel (the mermaid), and many other recent "lead women" come equipped with a shapely body and even cleavage, and none of it was an accidental slip of the artists pencil... These are some of the obviously attractive Disney ladies. For a more myseriously attractive woman, simply look at Isma, from The Emperor's New Groove. While most people find her appearance (even her cleavage) nearly repulsive (with the exception of those who are really into granny porn), her dark, mysterious nature has a strangely attractive feel about it, and she definitely makes my "Top Ten Sexiest Cartoon Ladies" list.

Male cartoon characters can be attractive, too. OBvious candidates for "Most Eligible Toon Bachelor" include Cronk and Hercules, with their super-human physiques; Lord Farquad and Jafar, with their powerful presences; and Peter Pan and Alladin, with their boyish enthusiasm and chrismatic personalities. However, highest honors go to..... drum roll .... Homer Simpson! Yes, man of mystery Homer Simpson tops the list with his manly attitude, quick wits, relentless work ethic, and compassionate selfless attitude. Homer is quite the ladies' man.

Basically, there's nothing wrong with being attracted to cartoon characters, as long as it is a healthy admiration and not a creepy, possessive obsession. It's basically the same as being attracted to a human character, except the toons have much smaller salaries and would be much cheaper to date as they would probably eat very little at dinner.

err, joey... cartoon petaphilia(sp?)

A lot of the girls I know think the guy from reboot is hot. I dunno, I don't. hmm, I think I'm gonna have to go with generic disney prince charming. Like the prince from sleeping beauty or snow white.

you are correct, you can't spell pedophilia. Just remember, the base of the word "pedo" means child. or foot.
